It's time for the FabShop Hop! Let's get hoppin' and shoppin'!

THE FABRIC SHOP NETWORK is proud to bring you FABSHOP HOP™...an Internet fabric shopping adventure from June 1-30, 2008. REGISTER NOW!

By visiting the sites June 1-30, 2008, you'll have an opportunity to explore your "soon to be favorite" fabric/quilt shops and design studios as you qualify for random prize drawings.

The concept behind our virtual shop hop is exactly the same as taking a fabric shopping trip by car. On our "virtual" shop hop, however, you'll leave the car in the garage and can even shop in your jammies! REGISTER NOW! You will have 30 days to get around to over 100 of the sites.

Unfortunately, only U.S. and Canadian residents are eligible for prizes due to strict sweepstakes laws in many countries. If you live outside the U.S. please feel free to register and go on the Hop for the fun of the adventure.

HOW TO HOP

Supplies needed:

• Flexible fingers to mouse around from shop to shop.
• A pencil and paper to make notes of places you want to check back with and to record orders you've placed for fabric.
• A favorite beverage — after all, fabric shopping and hopping is thirsty work. We recommend a relaxing cup of tea.
• Hand cream to massage your hands when you get tired of the computer keyboard and mouse.
• Any patterns you are planning to make and a list of fabrics needed.
• A credit card for on-line shopping. (not required to participate in the hop, but why else would you visit over 100 fabric and quilt shops in a month?— reality check here)
• Chocolate! (optional but highly recommended)

Techniques to Master:

• Click (to go from shop to shop)
• Bookmarking — also called "favorites" to be able to re-visit shops you particularly like.

How to do the FabShop Hop™

At each site, look around on the various pages to find the yellow bunny with the hot pink background that looks like this below:

Click on the bunny, and a prize registration page will come up — fill in your email address. This sends a message to our database that you visited that shop. You will receive a confirmation that you have registered at that site. Print this page for reference if you like to track where you have been. You can then continue shopping at that site or go back to the home page for that site and continue on the Hop. That's all there is to it. If you want to practice, click on the bunny on this page from the last FabShop Hop. It doesn't count for anything, but you'll know what to expect when you go on the real FabShop Hop™.
